Eloy Alarcon

Eloy Alarcon passed away on August 15, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Merced after a long battle with diabetes. Elou was a life long resident of South Dos Palos and lived in the same home on Fifth St. for many of those years. Eloy was born September 18, 1966 to Elijio (Louie) Alarcon and Oralia (Lollie) Solis he was the youngest of four children. Eloy enjoyed to cheer on his favorite teams the San Francisco Forty Niners, the San Francisci Giants, Oakland A's and he was a Dos Palos Bronco for life!! Eloy's favorite hobby was spending time at Table Mountain Casino. He also enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes. Eloy's great joy in life came from spending time with his grandchildren Samantha Alarcon, Jealynn Alarcon, Emil Alarcon Jr. and Olivia Alarcon. Eloy was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Solis Sr. his uncle Willie Solis Jr. and his sister Margie Mora  Jimenez. Eloy is survived by his parents Louie Alarcon and Oralia Solis, his sister Susan Elms his brother Elijio (Chito) Alarcon, his children Eloy Alarcon Jr., Emil Alarcon, Evon Alarcon and Emily Alarcon, his grandchildren Samantha, Jealyn, Emil and Olivia. His nephews Steven, Rudy, Gilbert, Jacob, Gabriel and Matthew. His niece Michelle and countless family and friends that love him.

Visitation will be at Fierro Family Funeral Home 1702 Golden Gate Ave. in Dos Palos, CA on Monday August 22nd, 2016 from 6 pm - 8 pm. Funeral Service will also be at Fierro Family Funeral Home on Tuesday August 23rd, 2016 from 10 am - 11 am, The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this difficult time.
