Robert Ceccarelli

Robert Wayne "Bob" Ceccarelli was called home to our heavenly father on November 11th, 2016. He was born on July 19th, 1938 to Bruno and Doris Mae Ceccarelli, in Merced, CA. He was a life-long resident of Dos Palos, living in South Dos Palos until the sixth grade, when his family moved into town.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and watching horse races. He was a very hard worker; anyone who knew him knew he was a workaholic. He enjoyed doing manual labor, so he could look back on it and have pride in his accomplishments.  Until his retirement Bob owned Chic’s Grocery Inc. in South Dos Palos, where you could find the best ribs in town. He did not take a vacation for about seven years, sacrificing being able to spend time with his kids in order to provide for them. Bob was a kindhearted man. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and would always tell them stories. They would always listen, because he had some of the best stories to tell. He will be truly missed by his friends and family.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Bruno and Doris Mae Ceccarelli. He is survived by his wife Palmira Ceccarelli, his son Rico Ceccarelli and his wife Silvia, his son Timothy Ceccarelli, his son John Ceccarelli and his wife Elizabeth, and his grandchildren Reagan, Quincy, Luke, and Rachel. 

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1650 Lucerne Ave. in Dos Palos at 10:00 am, followed by the reception at the Dos Palos DES.
