Robert Huerta

Robert was born on June 30, 1965 in Merced, Ca. He escaped this mortal realm on April 10th, 2017 at the age of 51. We think he did it on purpose to avoid using his favorite four letter words.

Robert leaves behind his wife Rebecca Ann Huerta, who was his best friend and soul mate. Together, they blended seven children. Robert Huerta (Jr), Zach Huerta, Seth Huerta (Rambo), Taylor Ann Huerta (Punkin), Makayla Rae Huerta Simmons, Samantha James Simmons, and Michael Simmons (Gator). Robert also had two grandchildren, Alexia Page Smith and Gage Anthony Huerta. Robert also leaves his younger brother and best friend Emilio Huerta (Puh-Memo).

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Sedro (Robert) Huerta and Marie Elena (Lena) Garcia. His sister, Estella (Stella) Huerta. Brother, Steve Huerta and Roberts first born son Ronnie James Huerta.

Robert lived most of his life in Dos Palos, Ca. He graduated high school in 1983 and three months later, joined the United States Army. Robert was very proud to serve his country.

Robert has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly. Following his wishes, there will not be funeral services. However, there will be a celebration of life on Sunday April 30th at the Del Hale hall starting at 3:00PM (913 Center Street Dos Palos).    

Service will be on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at San Joaquin National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
