Phyllis June Alves

Phyllis June Weaver Alves passed away, Sunday, March 31, 2024, peacefully with family by her side at Emanuel Hospital inTurlock, CA.

Phyllis was the sixth born of 10 children in Porum, OK. As a young child she and her family moved to Dos Palos, CA where she later met her husband, Larry and raised five daughters. Phyllis loved family gatherings, the fall of the year, her morning coffee, visiting with friends and family and reiminsing about her grandchildren.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Alves, son John Joseph Alves, parents Seaver and Maggie Weaver. Siblings Billy Dunlap, Sonny Weaver, Jack Weaver, Ruby Cole and Sharon Brady.

Phyllis is survived by daughter Tammie Sousa and granddaughters Michelle Boice and Marsha Walker. Daughter Cindy Rosa, son-in-law Joe Rosa and grandchildren Samantha Rosa, Michael Rosa and Stephanie Rosa. Daughter Shelly Weathers, son-in-law Wayne Weathers and grandchildren Kaylyn Weathers and Katesin Richards. Daughter Heidi Landers, son-in-law Kevin Landers of and grandsons Parker Costanzo and Preston Costanzo. Daughter Kristin Alves and seven great-grandchildren. Sister Vernia Mae Kash, brother George Lawrence Weaver, sister Annetta Jordan, and sister Kay Sherman. Brother-in-law Henry Alves, sister-in-law Nancy Desa and husband Dave Desa, and sister-in-law Wilma Alves, as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by the people who knew and loved her. Until we meet again we will be singing Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.

Viewing will be held Sunday, April 7th from 5pm to 7pm at Fierro Family Funeral Home, Dos Palos, CA. A gravesite burial at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery,  On April 8th at 1PM Santa Nella, CA at
