Esther Rosas

Maria Esther Cruz was born on February 18, 1959 in the small City of Firebaugh to Octaviano, Sr. & Maria P. Cruz. She passed suddenly & unexpectedly,  in the arms of her loving husband, Antonio (Tony) Rosas, on January 13, 2019.

Esther grew up with 8 siblings, and attended local school, where she met the love of her life, Tony.  The high school sweethearts were married in 1977. Together they have 3 children; Aubrey, Tony Jr, and Phillip. Like many, Esther worked in the fields of Oro Loma, chopping cotton, before she became a stay at home wife and mother. Her family was always her priority, and she just loved being Grandma Esther.  Whether it be in the stands cheering on Bronco Football, or sitting in the grass watching hours of volleyball before Sunday Family Dinner, she enjoyed all the time spent with her loved ones.  Esther was very proud of her children,  and grandchildren as they were the light of her life. She also loved taking time to color, and cranking up her favorite jams to dance like no one was watching.

Esther leaves beind her husband of 41 years, Antonio Rosas; her children Aubrey & Michael Quiroz, Tony Jr. Rosas, and Phillip Rosas; Daughters in law Angie and Blanca; Grandchildren Ricky, Anthony, Desirea, Christopher,  Mattheu,  Arianna,  Carina & Angel; Her first Great Grand child is Due to make his grand debut in February; Her siblings Octaviano Jr. Cruz, Josie Cruz, Mario Cruz, Margaret Birlew, Frankie Cruz, & Jesse Cruz; Many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death her beloved parents Octaviano, Sr. & Maria Cruz; One sister, Lupe Galindo;  One brother Georgie Cruz.

Esther was loved and cherished by her many family members, and friends and will be missed by all. 

Services for Maria Esther Rosas will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 1 pm at Fierro Family Funeral Home, located at 1702 Golden Gate Avenue in Dos Palos.
