Kenneth Charles Howard  (Pete)

Kenneth was born on August 16, 1932 in Dos Palos Ca. to Kenneth Newell Howard and Louise Pera Howard. He attended Dos Palos schools graduating from Dos Palos High School in 1950.  After graduation, Kenneth joined the U.S Army in 1952-1954. In 1956 Kenneth met the love of his life and married Petra Rodriguez of Salinas Ca.

Kenneth and Petra went on to have four children: Steven Howard of Dos Palos, CA; Lorraine Howard Smith of Fountain, CO; Brian Howard of Dos Palos, CA; and Robert Howard of Los Banos, CA. Kenneth also had five grand-children, Elizabeth Corso of Dos Palos, Caz; Brittany Howard of Dos Palos, CA; Brianne Howard of Dos Palos, CA; Marcus Smith and Abraham Smith of Fountain, CO. He was also blessed with two Great-grandsons, Brendan Marquez and Jaxxon Howard.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Petra in August of 2012. Kenneth was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. But most of all he was the cornerstone of his family and prided himself on always being there for his family. Kenneth also loved what he did for a living working from the age of 15 in the family Beekeeping business. Kenneth worked with his bees until his very last day of life. We will always miss you and will always love you with all of our hearts “Thank you for always being there”.

Services will be held at Fierro Family Funeral Home on Tuesday October 24, 2017 from 6-8PM. Burial will be Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 10AM at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella 32053 McCabe Road
