Leon Powers

Leon Powers, age 67, passed away on July 12th, 2019 in the company of his loving family in Modesto, CA. 

He was born on June 12th, 1951 in Merced, California to Tarson and Lillie Mae (Cole) Powers.  He is preceded in death by his father, Tarson Powers, brothers Curtis and David Powers and sisters Christine Powers and Marion Davis.

Leon is survived by his wife Julie Powers, four daughters Keira, Sheyenne, Shontae and Kim Powers and one son Sean (Amy) Powers, four sisters Carolyn Powers, Octavia Bledsoe, Jean Mayfield and Alice Carter, three brothers Chester Powers, Calvin Powers and Marvin Powers and one grandson Ayden Justice Powers as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.  He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19th at 11am at the Fierro Family Funeral Home in Dos Palos, CA.  Burial will be at the Dos Palos District Cemetery. Flowers, donations and condolences may be sent to: 21230 State Hwy 33 Dos Palos, CA  93620.
