Effie Carnell

Effie Carnell was born on October 8th, 1924 in Brookshire, Texas. Effie was born to the parents Willis and Josephine Banks. She was the first child of four other siblings, her brother Joe and three sisters, Ethel, Willie Mae, and Josephine who she precedes in death. Effie moved to California where she met Samual Carnell who she married in 1944. She raised six children while working many jobs which included, fieldwork, housekeeping, and cannery work. She leaves to mourn five children Samual Carnell Jr. of Fresno, CA, Lona De La Cruz and Harry Carnell of Chowchilla, CA, and David Carnell and Juanita Redding of Dos Palos, CA. Effie loved to fish and bond with her many grandchildren who will truly miss her. She also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
