JW Walker

JW Walker, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Merced, California. He was born on August 26, 1935 to Ludimae Williams Allen and Ollie Walker in the state of Arkansas. He moved to California at around 18 years of age and there he married Roberta Weaver. He worked in agriculture here for many years and retired from that. In his retirement, he enjoyed many things including Gardening, church, raising cattle and telling us stories. He is preceded in death by his parents and current wife Ruthie. He is survived by his nine children Marilyn, Eugene, Phyllis, Irene, Raymond, Sarah, Esther Lena, Eric and Lorenzo. There are also many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at the Los Banos Cemetery, located at 16575 Center Ave, Los Banos Ca, 93635, On Monday, August 5th at 11 AM. A Repass will be held immediately after in Dos Palos at the Scout Hut, located at 1910 Marguerite st.
