James passed away on December 3, 2020, he was 86 years old. James was born in Colorado on March 3, 1934, he came to California as a young child and grew up in San Francisco. After school, he served in the Navy. James (Jim) Burgin also known as "Burgie" loved his family, they all shared the love of raising goats and collecting antiques. Jim worked for PG&E for 33 years before he retired and traveled the states to find the best yard sales possible. He was proceeded in death by his parents Elsi Burgin and Fred Burgin, his loving wife Irene Burgin, and sister Viola Avis. James is survived by his brothers Charles & his wife Donna Burgin of Colorado, Kenny and his wife Cheryl Burgin of Auberry, his sisters Jean and her husband Joe Rodriguez of Brentwood, Jerry Shrader and her husband Skip of Antioch, his stepson Steven Penny of Dos Palos and his daughter Jamie K. Burgin (Barger) and her husband Wesley Barger ( Dos Palos) who he was very proud of as well, two grandchildren Nicole and Zachary Rocha both of Dos Palos, six great-grandchildren Shayla, Eric, Kimberly, Sierra, Savannah, and Cherry Lynn as well as many nieces and nephews. James was elated to have shared his birthday with the youngest of them all Cherry Lynn Rocha. James will be dearly missed and always loved.
