Kurt Von Allman

Kurt Von Allman passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 59. Kurt was born on January 8, 1964, in Dos Palos, California to Linda and Jerry Von Allman. He spent most of his childhood off and on in Turkey with his family due to his father being in the military. It wasn’t until he was 13 when his family moved back to Dos Palos. There he didn’t know he would meet the love of his life. On the first day of his 8th grade year, he met Cindy (aka poo). Not long after they began dating, and continued dating throughout their school years. In 1986, just 2 years after graduating high school, they got married on June 7th. Six months later he said hello to his first-born child Kira. Kurt started working at the Merced County Landfill in 1987 and continued working there until he retired as the manager in 2014. During that time, he welcomed two other children, his sons Kurt Jr in 1988 and Devin in 1990, and his first two grandchildren Chloe in 2011 and Carter in 2013. After retiring he spent his time doing the things he loved, fishing and camping. He also welcomed three more grandchildren Ariel, Malia, and Kaiden. Kurt loved being around family and friends, whether it was during the holidays or just having a weekend barbeque. He is survived by his wife Cindy Von Allman, daughter Kira Neal and son-in-law Michael Neal, Sons Kurt Von Allman Jr. and Devin Von Allman, daughter-in-law Sherilyn Von Allman, Mother Linda Von Allman, sister Pam Burbach, sister-in-law Myrna Von Allman, five grandchildren, Chloe and Carter Neal, and Ariel, Malia, and Kaiden Von Allman, and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his Father Jerry Von Allman, brother Greg Von Allman, and brother Bradly Von Allman. The funeral will be held at the Fierro Funeral Home located at 1702 Golden Gate Ave, Dos Palos, CA on November 21, 2023, at 12 pm (noon).
