Marie (Linda) VonAllman (nee Batey) was born on December 4, 1938, in Dos Palos, California to Clara and Charles Batey. She was born into eternity on November 5, 2024, where she was lovingly greeted by those who preceded her in death, including her husband Gerald (Jerry) VonAllman, three sons Greg, Kurt, and Bradley VonAllman, grandson Kurt VonAllman Jr, great grandchildren Jack Deno and Tucker VonAllman, eight siblings and her parents.
Marie lived a full life. She married Jerry the love of her life on January 5, 1959, whom she supported throughout his military career, raising her children across the globe. After raising her children in various states and many years living abroad in Turkey, she returned to the Central Valley not far from the family farm she was raised on. Back in Dos Palos she continued to deepen her roots, welcoming grandchildren, then great grandchildren. Marie's life was full of family, church, and her morning walks that you could set a clock to. She enjoyed quilting with her sisters and nieces, bingo, spending time with her loved ones, and being a GG more than anything.
Marie is survived by her daughter Pamela Burbach (Herman), Daughter-in-law Cindy VonAllman; six grandchildren, Kira Neal (nee VonAllman) (Michael), Tabitha Deno (nee Burbach), Gregory VonAllman Jr. (Fiona), Herman (Buddy) O. Burback IV, Russell VonAllman and Devin VonAllman (Sherilyn); many great grandchildren: Chloe & Carter Neal, Luca Deno; Violet, Newton & Francis VonAllman; Ariel, Malia & Kaiden VonAllman; her brother Harold Batey and many nieces and nephews.
A service of Christian Burial will be held at Fierro Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral reception at the Valley Christian Church. A private internment will be the following day at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.
