Marco Lorenzo Madrid, 78, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. Born on November 19, 1947, he was a lifelong resident of Firebaugh, California.
Marco was a hardworking and skilled carpenter who took great pride in his craft. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he dedicated his life to providing for his family. Even in retirement, his hands were rarely still; he enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with motors and tools.
Above all else, Marco was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He demonstrated his love for his family through his actions and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His steady presence and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Marco is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Madrid; his daughter, Stephanie Gonzales (husband Steve); his sons, Marco Lorenzo Madrid Jr. (wife Lydia) and Daniel Madrid; his grandchildren, Kristen Gonzales (Antonio Gallegos), Kelsie Gonzales-Perez (Ricardo Perez), Jordan Madrid (Kim Powell), Taylor Gutierrez (Eulisis Gutierrez), and Mia Madrid; his great-grandchildren, Tehya Tuiasosopo, Enzo Perez, and baby Gallegos; and his siblings, Linda Solis, Carmen Valenzuela, and Alfred Madrid.
Marco will be remembered for the deep love he had for his family and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
