Michael McGee Obituary

Michael Jerry Duane McGee born to the parents of John and Elizabeth McGee in Los Banos, California. Michael lived all of his life in Dos Palos where he attended school and graduated from Dos Palos High School. He continued his education at Merced College. He later married Paula Esquivel and to this union had two children.

He worked various jobs in Dos Palos starting at an early age. He later worked for Menezes Bros Trucking Co. of Los Banos, then he took a job with Farmers Tire of Dos Palos where he worked for many years becoming a favorite among many Ranchers throughout the Central Valley. He later ended his working career as an employee of Dos Palos Unified School District, due to his battle with MS he no longer was able to work. He became a resident of Newman, California where he remained until his death. Michael loved his books about cars and talking to anyone who would listen, his favorite football team was the Denver Broncos and he also enjoyed listening to his spiritual songs. Michael always was in a good mood despite his illness, during his stay in the Dos Palos facility he professed his faith in Jesus Christ. Michael was the youngest in his family. He is proceeded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth, brothers Herbert and Raymond, sisters Lillian Morse, Darlene McGee Fitch, and daughter Jami McGee.

Leaving to cherish his memory is his sons Michael McGee II and Brandon Esquivel, two granddaughters Amber and Zeniah McGee, two great-grandchildren Manny Jr., Kaitlen, a brother Bossie McGee of Dos Palos, sisters Birtha Jackson of Fresno, Odessa (George) Hendrix of Portland, Betty (Thomas) Pigg of Dos Palos and Vickee (Frederick III) Turner of Canoga Park. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Michael was well known and loved in the community especially for his mechanic skills. He will be truly missed by family, friends, community, and mostly love ones.
