Rebecca Celeste Hubbell

Our kind, sweet Rebecca C. Hubbell, lovingly called Bey or Gma by family and friends passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Bey was born in Pasadena, California on May 3, 1948, to Helen Tafoya and John Espinosa. Bey was the oldest of four children and was protective of her siblings. She married Floyd Hubbell in December 1969 and they had two children together. Settling in the bay area she spent her life dedicated to her family. Memories of her walking them to the bus stop each day, packing a homemade lunch, and having freshly made snacks ready after school they will hold dear. Retiring to Dos Palos, her family followed her. Bey was a loving mother and grandmother who committed her life to her children/grandchildren. She loved to do word searches, spend time on her front porch, cooking, baking bread, reading recipes, and eating vegetarian pizza with chicken. Bey was preceded in death by her daughter Rachel. She is survived, by her husband Floyd, and siblings John, Olga, and Mark. Her daughter Vanessa along with grandchildren Eve and Cody. 

No services will be held at this time. We take comfort in knowing Bey is with her mother and daughter rejoicing in Heaven and watching over us.  Our family requests that you take a moment to remember her with your favorite memory.
