Obituary

Richard was born on December 3, 1951, to Frank and Frances Antonetti in Dos Palos, CA. He attended the local schools graduating from Dos Palos High School in 1970. He was active in football and baseball during his high school days and continued playing those sports while attending West Hills College in Coalinga. Richard started his career working for the Oro Loma Store for Dean Kelly, while also working for the family business, Jack and Frank's Gas Station. He continued his career working for the Y Cash Market and Food Center. He finally ended his career as the manager of the Meat Department for the Town and Country Market in 2011. Richard married the love of his life, Peggy Dover, on April 16, 1989, in South Lake Tahoe which was their favorite destination. In 2014 Richard was inducted into the Hall of Fame for football and baseball and his whole family was there to celebrate with him. His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing and making his rounds through town to find out what was happening. He loved joking around with his grandchildren and acting goofy with them. He would often just call them to see how they were doing and check on them. Family meant a lot to him. Richard never knew a stranger and would stop and talk to anyone. He was always the life of the party and always had a joke or two to tell anyone who would listen. Richard is preceded in death by his father, Frank Antonetti and his mother Frances Antonetti, his brother Randy Antonetti and his beloved daughter Shannon Antonetti. Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Peggy Antonetti, two step-daughters Kelly (Dan) Espino of Merced, Nicki (Troy) Denno of Atwater, sister Bonnie Eubanks of Fresno, sister-in-law Leslie Antonetti of Dos Palos. Seven grandchildren; Erica, Jessica, Nathan, Ashton, Alexis, Jaylen, and Mackynze, as well as three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Grayson, and Madden, and many nieces and nephews. Richard loved life and lived it to the fullest and he was loved and cherished by many people.
