Robert (Bob) Lee of Dos Palos, CA was born on April 15, 1943 and passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the age of 77. Bob enjoyed playing as well as coaching baseball. He bravely served his community as a reserve Police Officer. Robert went on to work at the Bureau of Water Reclamation helping to build the Don Pedro dam. He would go on to work in construction for 35 years. In his retirement he loved spending time outdoors with his grandchildren and taking his dog Molly for walks. Bob had a passion for golf, he enjoyed playing and watching the game. Most Wednesday mornings he could be found out on the golf course, he loved traveling and camping.
Robert is proceeded in death by parents Robert Eugene Lee and Lila Alwine, stepfather Bill Alwine, brother Denny Lee, and Stepbrother Tom Alwine.
He Survived by his loving wife of 56 years Kathie, two daughters Gina Gomes (Garth) of Madera and Lori Lima (Paul) of Dos Palos. Bob leaves behind six grandchildren Brontae Gomes, Braeden Gomes, Brielle Gomes, Noah Lima, Katie (Papa’s Katie Bug) Lima and Nathan Lima, numerous nieces and nephews and sisters Linda Anderson of Cherry Valley, CA and Patty Haap of Fort Collins, CO.
