Sandy was called home on April 4, 2023. He was born on February 7, 1940. He was the 2nd of 3 children. He was born in Dos Palos, California.
If you knew Sandy, you were his friend. He was the unofficial Ambassador of Dos Palos. Sandy was very independent he loved to ride his bike around town visiting friends and family. Later in life, he drove his Honda (aka) Golf Cart around the property where he lived for the last 13+ years. Sandy was always on the go, you could find him supporting the local youth, nieces, and nephews at various sporting events throughout the year. He also loved his St. Joseph Church, parades, and the May Day Fair. Sandy will be missed but always remembered. We have heard so many heart-warming stories about Sandy since his passing. He has touched so many lives in his 83 years on this earth. Sandy was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Alma Schuyler, his sisters, Jacqueline Merck and Emma Zuspan, his nephews Curtis Merck and Stephen Prince, and his niece Kemo Merck.
He leaves behind his nieces Alma (Ron) Bays (SC), and Cynthis (Glenn) Hutchins (NC), his nephew John (Melody) Merck (DP) his niece Barbara (Robert) Cardenas (LB), his nephews Gene, Christopher and Jacob Zuspan and niece Allison Zuspan. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as great, great nieces and nephews who all loved him so much. Services will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 1621 Center Ave, Los Banos. April 11, 2023. Viewing at 12:30 pm, Mass @ 1 pm. Interment at the Dos Palos District Cemetery.
